Ready to take you mama-focused content and business into the app store? We can help!
Most of us that have growing businesses and communities that we want to communicate and connect with… and email these days just doesn’t have the same impact. Having the ability to be front and center on someone’s smart phone through push notifications, fresh content, and group messaging allows us to connect and serve our people better. But creating an app can be an overwhelming and expensive process!
We did the hard work when we created Mama, the app. And now, as we are working with other organizations that want to support mamas, we realize how much this community needs access to affordable app creation.
If you need an app, we have a framework we already built that you can use quickly, easily, and cheaply. We did the hard work, now let us create a customized app for you with similar functionality as Mama.
Today, we are launching our Maven Mamas App Creation Pilot Project to see if other mama-led businesses out there want to leap off of what we’ve already built!
You provide your specs and requirements below, we will train you how to use and manage it, AND (bonus!) we will promote your work on our app and to our Mama members for free. Get your app to the app store and Google Play within (or less than!) three months!!!
Before completing this form please make sure to familiarize yourself with our app functionality by downloading it in the app store and experiencing all of the features.
This app will be a Native App and will be created for both iOS & Google Play. *yes both!!!
Maven Mamas App Functionality:
Send & schedule push notifications (daily if you'd like, you decide the cadence)
Connect and pull into the app in real time blogs and content
Host podcasts
Host video
Create member profiles
Login authentication via email or Facebook
Ad space within the app (Mama does not have this as we charge $1.99 for our app but this functionality is available)
Host and manage groups and messaging
**We are only accepting three mama-driven/mama-focused businesses for this pilot project.
The cost for this pilot will be just $5,000 for the app creation, training, and getting the app into the App Store and Google Play.
Once we launch this service widely in 2019, the full development fee will be $9,500, which as you know is still a great deal in the world of apps, usually costing $40,000-$60,000 to create on average.
*There will be an annual commitment of a one-year maintenance membership of $100/month for basic support within the app (we don't want to totally leave you out on your own after we build your app) and this will allow us to provide up to two hours of support and maintenance on your app as changes and additional training is needed.
**App development does not include graphic design work including photography, logo resizing, etc. We will have a list of all required assets for you at the start of the project. We do work with graphic designers and can refer you to someone if you need support.
Application Closes Tuesday, October 23, 2018.
We will shortlist applicants, conduct interviews and make a final decision of the three pilot applicants by October 30.
The process for app creation will begin week of November 5 with the hopes to have the apps developed and in app stores available to your customers and clients in less than three months!!
